  2. The Trovants Museum Natural Reservation – the Trovants Museum is a unique, open-air place open to all geology and archeology enthusiasts. Inside this museum, you will discover finds, relief microforms characteristic of sand accumulations and sandstone layers rich in calcium carbonate. The trovants found in the Museum of Troubadours also impress with their size, finding trovants from two to three cm, up to about five meters.
  3. The earth pyramids from Slătioara – These are located on “Magura Slatioarei,” in Gorunesti village and on the territory of Stroiești commune, being declared a natural reservation. The two hills, Măgura and Măguricea, represent an anticline-type geological structure consisting mainly of conglomerates. The pyramids are impressive sculptures of differential erosion produced by precipitation water. It is more difficult to reach this tourist attraction, but it can also be admired from a distance.
  4. Pearl Cave – is a protected area of national interest located in Vâlcea County, on the administrative territory of Băile Olănești. The cave is included in the Buila-Vânturarița National Park. The protected area is a cave with several concretionary forms in the form of pearls, which houses the fauna made up of fossil bear remains from the cave.
  5. Sterpu-Dealul Negru Reservation – located in Vâlcea County, on the administrative territory of Voineasa, is a protected area of national interest. Here you can see the black goat and other wild animals (brown bear, deer) protected by law. Also, the reservation houses an impressive fauna (variety of floristic species: juniper, emerald).
  6. Cristești Reservation – located in Vâlcea County, on the administrative territory of Voineasa commune, is a protected area of national interest at an altitude between 1,900 and 2,050 m. It includes complex forms of ruiniform relief and glaciers, rocks, gaps alpine, rubble, meadows, forests and meadows, with fauna and flora specific to the Southern Carpathians.
